About the Founder

Tara Beth Stanton, a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), has worked tirelessly for several years caring for as many of these special cats as she could. After much work, she received her 501(c)3 certification from the IRS and Mahma's House was officially opened. Tara continues to work full time as a CVT for Dr. Celeste Flannery at Airpark Animal Hospital in Cottonwood, Arizona. When she is not at work, she is tending to all of her "children" at Mahma's House, including her daughter, Alia, who also works many hours in support of this special cause.
